Sort of; not being an artifact, being tied to a single land and not being playable in every deck is definitely quite different to astrolabe however.
Definitely two different ways to view it, I.e better mana or more powerful cards.

I think that style of manabase is just too slow for contemporary Pauper though. It does work, but it's slow.
Something like Nylea's that cost 1 rather than 2 would be a good add.

It would be sweet if it was viable! I feel like a land upgrade is more needed than a card upgrade however. Which is probably quite unlikely.

Definitely a lot of nostalgia for the old cards/art.

Hopefully we will fall into a meta where it's solid once again!
