Trust me when I say that we emphasize.I visited the US regularly in the last 12 years. And I also noticed changes. This shouldn't be a contest on who got it worse tho.

It indeed is. In fact we just recently have the situation where far right party's are able to get between 20 to 40 % of votes. This has been the case in Europe in general for longer. We just late to the "party"

30% of germans are retirees. Almost 40% ( around that ballpark) of our expanses are retirement payments and social security. I am not against that per se but the retiremsystem needs reform desperately or it will just collapse in a few years.
