Yeah, thinking about the second one. LLMs are trained to be "helpful" and I wonder if it can detect that status distinction depending on how it's been instructed to respond.

I do agree though, your main point was more like triggering a personality or competency based on specific question phrasing.

For some reason I'm reminded of this article about higher jargon use reflecting lower status. Maybe LLMs are an extension of that very human propensity to want to use the big words to impress the boss (user) with an implicit Jargonator.
