Like "The Outliers" feel like a little dose of New Mutants in the middle of the X-Men - but again, new characters, new stories. Just perfectly getting the vibe.

Like so much stuff throws nostalgia at you to get easy emotion. This does not, the stories are new, a lot of the characters new, it is not leaming on "look see what you liked as a kid", but it captures the feel of what X-Men should be in a way few have since Claremont.
