Even state legislators! NH actually has really good privacy protections for students and it does have an impact: educational software does allow for student users to logon anonymously.

The short is answer is no. The long answer is that historians are warming to using to accepting the 7th Letter as authentic (see Waterfield's recent biography of Plato, also the intro to Helfer's translation of Plato's Letters). But most of the enslavement story is in Diogenes Laertius.
