Isn’t that his job? It is hard enough getting a NSF grant in our disciplines, now it is OUR responsibility to also tell the public in addition to do the work, train the student, publish the paper, etc.?

We used the Unreal engine years ago to visualize landscape scale pollen movement in forest trees. I gave a presentation to the board of visitors and the app crashed. The startup screen for Unreel at that time had ‘Barbarian men and women’ in states of skimpy outfits…. Embarrassed…

I think the last thing that I would like to have is my grubby little fingerprints all over my Mac laptop screen the way are over my tablet screen. I don’t get it.
