Finally cooked something new that I’m enjoying! Dawned on me that C6 doesn’t mean I need to only play 6-power cards. Juggernaut, Cosmo, and a mini move package join a C6 core. Cloak and Web to move non-move-scaler 15 power cards is underrated.

Done. Thanks hot location! Despite my playing Rogue, I’m never once beat a Mercury. Truly no idea what the best list is (I tried a dozen) except that this configuration is what made me fly through the 90s.
Anyhow, now I can mess with Man-Spider decks in Conquest 🤩

I too was not loving this format and found the only fun avenue in Magneto. @scosco.bsky.social’s list was better than mine though so I ran his to the end. Bye Grand Arena 👋🏽

I might’ve preferred that honestly. The bots I faced were nuts. Not like bots from seasons past. Here are a couple. But they took 8 from me multiple times too.

What a slog! Did anyone else face the super strong bots? After being disappointed with Zombie Wanda, did 70s and 80s quickly with stock Destroy. Fell back to 89, so switched to this config of Move & Remove then got stuck in 98-99 limbo forever! Switched to Torch Master, which got it done in 4 games.

Round 5: C2 vs Thanos Kang Arishem
C2 is the most consistent Cerebro deck. I felt like it was mine to lose; winning the first game for 8 made the rest go smoothly. I didn’t used to play Goose, but I realize I’d been missing out.
And, we did it! Whew!

Round 5: C2 vs Thanos Kang Arishem
C2 is the most consistent Cerebro deck. I felt like it was mine to lose; winning the first game for 8 made the rest go smoothly. I didn’t used to play Goose, but I realize I’d been missing out.

Started to feel pressure since I was using the more serious Cerebro deck, which *should* win. C3 is C3. Did its thing. Lots of configurations work. Quake is my fave.

Round 3: C5 vs Arishem
Good stats are good! I’ve never been much of a C5 player, but I was surprised at how many cards it can get on board between Doom and Scarlet Spider. That Mandala does work too.

Needed good draws for this one (Moonstone for enough power and Luke for afflict.) Pulled it off! C6 is fun but not so great without Cosmo anymore.

I won an infinity border with five different Cerebro decks!
Had the idea this morning to do the Infinity Conquest with C2, C3, C4, C5, and C6 (not in that order.) Surprised and relieved that it only took two attempts!

C3 got its good dog back and then got another too. Lockjaw is a nice little boost to help dig for Cerebro or send away Bast or reuse Scarlet Witch. Still playing around with it all.

This is the move configuration I’ve been enjoying this week for ladder and diner! Playing Heimdall for the first time in forever. Rogue and Shadow King are great in this meta and cube stealing surprises in Move. You have to play smart for SK, obvi.* Sneakily beats Tribunal Torch too.

This is the move configuration I’ve been enjoying this week for ladder and diner! Playing Heimdall for the first time in forever. Rogue and Shadow King are great in this meta and cube stealing surprises in Move. You have to play smart for SK, obvi.* Sneakily beats Tribunal Torch too.
The post-temporary-OTA world feels like an LTGM on ladder. Updated the Torch Master list (with Crystal!) since giant numbers seems to be the name of the game. Here’s what I’ve been doing 🤷♂️ win rate is okay but the wins are just silly.

The post-temporary-OTA world feels like an LTGM on ladder. Updated the Torch Master list (with Crystal!) since giant numbers seems to be the name of the game. Here’s what I’ve been doing 🤷♂️ win rate is okay but the wins are just silly.
