That being said!!! I do support the idea behind it, as someone who often finds myself borderline traumatized 80% of the time I'm trying to search for NSFW to look at in this space. I just don't know how easy it would be to enforce with how differently we may view what's safe for us.

So I think there could also be a bit of an issue too w/ making something "safe" only including anthro, because I'm sure there are other people like me (probably several fellow asexuals) where stuff being more inhuman is what makes them feel safe because we can separate it from ourselves easier.

Personally, I don't make anthro MLP NSFW and in fact it tends to make me deeply uncomfortable to see (no shame to anyone who likes or makes it, I think it might be an uncanny valley thing for me?) Part of the appeal of stuff being ponies for me is that I don't have to attribute it to my own body.

Unfortunately, I don't think a term like safeclop or even safeNSFW could really work, as it's really subjective. There's obvious stuff that we as a community could boot out of such a tag, like incest, but I think a lot of stuff would be difficult to categorize how "safe" it is for sure.

I've been feeling fairly okay while trying to engage with that stuff more where before it'd make me really uncomfortable and panicky, I'm getting better at just blocking things that bother and trigger me and trying to curate my feeds more. It's taken quite a bit of resilience honestly.

I'm in a vaguely similar boat, although I've only recently actually started engaging with NSFW art really at all because of how traumatizing it can easily be to see. So I wouldn't say I was ever unable to quit it, since I never really let myself start it, aside from occasional drawings I'd make.
