Even here, my usual excuse is that all the people I follow are so hot there’s no way any of them would take a closer interest in me which is its own separate issue but still.

I tend to stay in my own personal bubble. Doing commissions has helped a little, but I don’t think I’ll ever be at a point where I can just be interested in knowing a person without putting up a crazy high wall to make sure I won’t get hurt anymore. Even if I really do want more friends. 2/3
