How much are the flights for a group of 4? Again this is an extremely small part of total trip cost for anyone coming here internationally. I wouldn't come here in the first place as a foreigner due to other policies, as you state. But I can't imagine how this small amt alone would put anyone off.

Heck, people from here who don't live right outside a Natl Park are also spending a fortune on everything surrounding getting to and staying near the Natl Parks. I always thought the entrance fee was ridiculously low when that's the main thing I'm going to see

I don't see the problem. Entrance fees have always been the cheapest part of an NPS vaca. Someone from another country is spending a fortune in travel, accommodations, food, in-country transport, etc. I don't see how an extra $100-$200 would make that much of a difference to them

It should absolutely NOT be tied to your job. That’s the problem now. Everyone should be covered. The value of a life shouldn’t be tied to your job. What about people who are disabled, laid off, early retired, self-employed, gig workers, work for a small business, etc etc

Under normal circumstances I’d never dream of it. I’m a CPA. But in a world where he’s - getting rid of Dept of Edu, FEMA, Medicaid/SNAP, programs that buy food from farmers to give to food banks … and putting that on the states; selling off wildlands, gutting CDC, NOAA… (1/2)

Can I just not pay federal taxes anymore? If the federal govt is gutting programs & agencies, and saying the states should be responsible for it, shouldn’t every cent of tax money go to your own state?

People need to start shooting in self defense. There’s zero reason to believe there’s anything official happening. One has to assume they’re being kidnapped, and fight for their life.
