I hate writing bios. Anyone I connect with prob knows me in IRL anyway so it's kinda pointless
Upstate NY is a decent location wrt climate change. If I get wind that Mr. Creedy and Fingermen are showing up to take me away, I would prob try to flee to Canada and seek asylum. (If we even can at that point) You'd probably have an easier time finding work, but that about the rest of your family?

2. If everyone leaves, they really will win. 3. A lot of the places I'd consider are either having similar turmoil, or the emigration/acculturation processes would be extremely difficult or too expensive. 4. I don't think I'd be able to find work easily, I'm not fluent in any other languages.

Same. Part of me wants to say fuck it, let them burn it all down, it's what they voted for. But then again, I don't really believe that most people want authoritarian rule... I'm leaning toward staying and resisting, because 1. I don't have kids or parents to care for, so I have less to lose.
