A new argument on Facebook regarding Democrats who pointed out the fact that soldiers shouldn't obey UNLAWFUL orders: it makes Americans divided and angry when they say that, so it's treason. The party of 4chan cares about making people angry? Since when?

In light of several Democratic members of the military/intelligence releasing a video reminding said agencies they can refuse to obey unlawful orders, Republicans are calling for arrest. The most charitable interpretation of their cries is that Democrats are dog whistling with "unlawful".

Someone on Facebook just posted an image of the Wikipedia article on George Floyd compared to the Grokipedia one, claiming the latter was more nuanced and not pushing ideologies. Grokipedia made sure to list every bad thing Floyd had ever done, despite little of it being relevant to the case.

For me, the red flag with Platner isn't the fact that he at one point had an "edgy" tattoo. There's an entire genre of Youtube videos called "How I left the alt right", after all. No, the red flag is that this is being discovered rather than him simply coming clean well in advance.

As much as I've seen people here refusing to praise Charlie Kirk after his murder, I've not seen much praise for the gunman. Meanwhile, Trump openly said that rightwing extremists simply want law and order.

Larry Elder published a column saying that calling Republicans fascists leads to murder. He makes no mention of prominent conservatives like Tucker Carlson pushing the Great Replacement Theory, which has killed far more people than just Charlie Kirk.

A lot of conservatives are gushing over Kirk's wife forgiving Robinson, and it strikes me as shallow virtue signaling. Presumably, she thinks he should get the death penalty, as do I, so how exactly is she forgiving him?

I can explain the term "the woke right." The logic:
1) I denounced "wokeness" for years, proclaiming it dire threat to free speech, a civilizational danger
2) This fascism I was downplaying while focused on wokeness seems actually bad
3) Since I am by definition never wrong, the fascism is wokeness

Supposedly, Project Veritas just "caught" the Deep State saying they would refuse to give RFK data. If they were simply hiding data, yes, I understand the scandal. But giving any MAGA sole custody of data? No. They can't be trusted.
