I've just rechecked my embeds and they work now! 🎉 Maybe something got cached, either on my or codepen side :)

I was just wondering why my codepens stopped working and that explains it. It seems they work when executed directly on codepen site but do not work as embeddings for me.

How about Godot? I switched recently for Unity and I absolutely love it. Language (GDScript) is simple but very powerful, engine supports both 2D and 3D :)
