Anecdotally: There are so many older “centrist” Mormon men in Utah who’ve wound up raising kids that swung to the far left (out of the church) and are passionate about stopping authoritarianism (and harm to their kids). They have immense shame about what they’ve wrought. And… yeah… 80%.
