@razbuten.bsky.social I just watched your most recent video, and as a dad of two 15 month olds, it hit me like a truck. I remember played Dark Souls 2 for the first time while holding them. I watched a play through of DS2 recently and was transported back to holding my newborns. Thank you, friend.

Here is my Nintendo Year in Review and my PlayStation Wrap-Up. I finally tried out Dark Souls in late 2023. I get what the fuss is about. Risk of Rain Returns was my most surprising favorite, as I’m usually not huge on Rougelikes. Then, Stardew Valley, because of *widely gestures*

The initial few weeks of fun of Pokemon TCG pocket has lapsed. Like when Pokemon go came out in 2016, I am now asking “what next?” I’m still opening my packs every day to look for a couple of cards, but I’m ready for an expansion and a new meta.

I can be overwhelmed or underwhelmed, but I can’t be whelmed.
Or, at least, I think theoretically I could but the way I have set up my life seems to have made it very difficult.
