Food sovereignty has always been important to me. Now it's become my security blanket and soon could be my economic shield. So thankful for this bounty 💜

A tea pot on the stove in the background. 6 roasted chicken heads, their feet and veggies with herbs prepped for making rich, flavorful, and healthful chicken stock. Chicken stock after slow cooking on low for 12 hours in a slow cooker. 6 freezer bags of chicken stock with some remnants of veggies and chicken sitting on the counter with the light of a rainy afternoon in the background.

Finished another blanket 🧶
Hand crocheted mosaic original design blanket. The top and bottom boarders representing ribbon skirts with alternating teal ribbon, black with thin white line ribbon, coral ribbon, then another black with thin white line ribbon and then teal ribbon. Three rows of coral paddles to represent canoe journey alternating slightly in length to create illusion of movement. Above that there are side borders with 3 teal lines to represent pre-colonial coast salish blanket designs, a teal diamond to represent my daughter who will be covered by this blanket. The blanket might be a king size but atleast a large full size.
