I realized a while ago, when I play a competitive game of any sort, I want the *whole* game to have fun. Not just myself.

Goes for CCGs, board games, video games, whatever.

The number of ANR games I lost, not being outplayed but by not having as broken a deck (or, alternatively, an answer for broken cards in theirs), is very high.

Honestly, I agree wholeheartedly. It feels like Magic, nowadays, is less about "everyone having fun" and more "I get to have fun, fuck all y'all for trying", unfortunately.
