GONDOR CALLS FOR AID

I think this is an example of Trump making a provably false claim in the area he wants people to be talking about that is qualitatively correct. That windmill isn't in the US, and that bird isn't a bald eagle, but now we're all quibbling over this post about windmills killing raptors.

This administration remains oblivious to what effect net capital inflows must have on the trade deficit, of course

At Birkenau, I saw a woman in roughly her mid-20s simply stand at the end of the iconic train track and, smiling widely, take a selfie.

Likewise, some people playing this game may snigger appallingly, but I wonder whether totally oblivious play would be somehow as bad or worse.

UPDATE: Moments later, the painting was destroyed by a shredder that Klimt had secretly built into the painting's frame

But it's hard to imagine that there isn't some reasonably large subset of borrowers who would pay the premium--I am suspecting regulatory hurdles here, with FNMA and FHLMC the main suspects.
November 15, 2025 at 11:11 PM
I also love it, and it's not clear to me why this doesn't already exist--possibly borrowers are mostly unwilling to pay the small premium it would involve?

When you consider who actually builds houses, the irony is off the charts
November 14, 2025 at 12:41 PM
"Cost to consumers", okay, but how about gains to producers (workers/investors) and savings to taxpayers?
November 14, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Taxing on the margin and refunding lump sum is as backward as it gets.
