This adorable harbor seal napped at the dock in Anacortes, WA, all afternoon, waking only momentarily before deciding my intrusion was harmless and dropping back into what appears to be an enjoyable nap

Belted Kingfisher about to defend territory at Shallow Bay on Sucia Island. I know it's a "bird on a stick" photograph, but it's the closest I was able to get when he landed without altering his behavior. His flight was way too fast for me to get any decent photos.
