We have Medicare B which has gone up again. Our supplemental plan increased quite a bit for next year. So with taxes and essentials it's a hit. Friends with advantage plans have major premium increases too.

I did an initial calculation on our taxes because we have a set annual income. If it goes as calculated we will pay $120-$150 more in federal taxes. Our utilities have gone up plus the cost of grocery items. We sure are winning. 🤬

My Congressman has approved and rubber stamped every bad policy and voted against any good policy. He was a vocal election denier and did nothing but photo ops during the shutdown. His constituents are super angry. His arrogance and dismissal of our concerns will lose him his seat. Good.

If not, both VA01 and VA02 have great Dem candidates for the primary and the optics for VA01 have changed especially in Chesterfield and Henrico Counties.

While I'm unhappy it had to come to this, if people would READ Senator Kaine's statement they would understand his rationale. To say Kaine doesn't care about Virginia is disingenuous (I wanted to say a potty word). Read the statement. It's not hard.

Miyares posted that police should just shoot civilians if the police are depressed or having a bad day...and as the AG. (April 2022). Wapo posted an opinion piece about it. Doesn't that disqualify him? No, it shows what hypocrites Republicans are. Miyares hasn't posted one ad about his "record".

Voted straight blue. Talked to other Democrats who weren't happy with Jones but held their noses and voted for him. I really don't get the nose hold on this one but...
