I recently read a comparison of the results of our Ontario election with the recent election in Germany. Germany (like most of Europe) utilizes a proportional representation electoral system.

If you're like me and haven't received your voter card in the mail yet, don't worry. You don't need it to vote. Just bring your ID, such as your driver's license which lists your name and address. That's all you need to vote.

Only 18% of Ontarians voted for Doug Ford in 2022. In that time he's wasted billions of dollars on his pet projects like booze in our grocery stores, destroying the green belt, and tearing out bike infrastructure while real issues like health care, education and housing have only gotten worse.

Poor Dougie misplaced his 2022 mandate and wants a new one. I guess that's why he hasn't delivered on his promises to improve health care, increase housing or even cut taxes. Yet he still added $90 billion more debt, go figure??
