Regardless of what happens now, the 60 Minutes story has made Sharyn Alfonsi an overnight hero. She will ultimately amplify the story more than if it had run as planned, gain a bigger national profile than she had before and, most importantly, win the public’s trust. Integrity is everything.

If I was backing one performance to get an out of nowhere nomination, it’s Regina Hall. The wave of “One Battle” buzz is building and Hall is overdue for recognition.

1998 was the last time a pair of Actor and Actress Oscars went to the same film. Letting Dicaprio share a record with Jack Nicholson would be beautiful. Infiniti, like Hunt, goes toe to toe with a Hollywood legend and came out a star.
