We're passionate about continuing a long-standing choral tradition. Since our beginnings in 1715, we've commissioned new works from the most popular composers of the day, such as Edward Elgar and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, to Bob Chilcott and Eleanor Alberga.

The heart of the festival lies with the local Chorus, comprised of singers from the three counties, who perform alongside our orchestra in residence, @philharmonialondon.bsky.social at evening concerts in the Cathedral.
