That would make sense! I had the opposite experience. I grew up with a lot of anxiety that made me cringe at literally everything I said, liked, or did. I like shows like smiling friends, because it puts into perspective how ridiculous it really is, and lets me laugh at that part of myself.

I love both, and know a lot of people who don’t. Smiling friends and vids by Dan henstchel have their comedy come from the slapstick vs. real life juxtaposition, comedic timing, and some light cringe humor. The problem I see, is that people will shame others for not liking that kind of comedy.
