They aren't in a better position than any of us to do those things (they have a slight advantage of being a popular figure but celebrities fit the bill too). I suppose they can and should do those things but I feel like people are waiting around to be led when they need to act right now

Right! It's not just what we talk about and the language/communication form that we use that needs changing, but the spokesperson. Buttigieg is the only person who fits the bill for an effective messenger.

And prosecutors also have special duties, one of which is to only bring cases based on probable cause, not use their discretion to harass people, etc. I can not imagine trying to work under this administration in any legal capacity
