I forgot to post this here. I got Novavax on Thursday. Took me two weeks to find a CVS that had it but I argued with the pharmacist and they finally gave it to me for free under Bridge Access. Here’s my vaccine selfie @luckytran.bsky.social

Do they all do this?

Updates on Novavax shots getting ready to ship from pharmacies in NJ and WA. The plan is to have access at pharmacies every 5 miles (or so we’re hearing). Walgreens won’t be carrying Novavax. 5 shots per vial, so take friends. Any unused shots can be returned by the pharmacy for a refund!

"Wearing a well-fitting mask or respirator consistently and correctly reduces the risk of spreading the virus that causes COVID."

"Schools/ECE programs should consider flexible, non-punitive policies and practices to support ind. who choose to wear masks regardless of the COVID hosp. adm. level."

I will mask, we both use CPC mouthwash and nasal spray already, have air purifiers in both rooms, will keep windows open in bedroom, living room and bathroom. 🤞

I truly believe that most people are reasonable, IF you are willing to be also. There is middle ground here, even if it isn’t 100%.

If you haven’t ever used this product, I highly recommend it. Has no scent, doesn’t leave a greasy residue (I think it makes my hands feel like the dust jacket of an expensive hardback book - so…15/10), and keeps hands from bleeding as the weather gets colder. Runs ~$5, this has lasted 2 yrs so far.

Well…that went well. Just for clarification, I love this man with my whole heart and then some. There was a time when he was N95’d and testing everyday - his company required daily testing much longer than most and I was so grateful for that.

I don’t know how we got here, but I have my suspicions.

CDC, EPA, ASHRAE - wrote clear guidelines for schools/ECE programs regarding ventilation. Covid relief $ could've funded upgrades. States chose not to.

"...optimize ventilation and maintain improvements to indoor air quality to reduce the risk of germs and contaminants spreading through the air."

"...studies have shown masks to be effective in mitigating COVID-19-assoc. cases in schools... must start planning...and build an effective school infrastructure, including upgrading ventilation..." - Kevin Kavanaugh, MD

"It's not uncommon to see somebody get COVID in Jan, then in Apr, and again in Sept. We often see that by that 2nd or 3rd infection, they develop long COVID. That, for me, is very concerning." -Amy Edwards, MD, (Assoc Med Dir. for Infection Control at Univ Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hosp)

We know that Covid leads to cognitive impairment. Why are we doing this to ourselves, our children, and our communities?

I put a mask on her smug face and personally, I think we should start doing this to all pictures posted by public health figures. Post a picture unmasked? We’ll fix that for you.
