The companies building these data centers get away with all of this. They get reduced bills, while companies like Xcel Energy blatantly tells households that costs will be rising for them. Water sources get polluted. Black neighborhoods have their air poisoned. Using AI encourages this.

Ah, this is what you meant by timely. Preservation of packaged (old) things like this, when there are already multiple opened versions is about preventing the damage by moisture and air. Then they can be opened later. But like this person said, to the winner the spoils. No one was yelling at you.
