There’s no deal to be made.
Europe’s trade rules are based on democratic standards: food safety, environment, consumer rights. Ursula von der Leyen cannot legally negotiate those away, and politically, she must not.

So there is not Deal and should not never be a Deal. There could be a US - EU trade agreement but that will not do anything with any trade deficit.

The EU politicians cannot force people to buy American, we have freedom of choice!
