When my grandmother knew I'd started listening to Pink Floyd (when I was around 15), she made me come to her house and give me a set of Rock CDs, and this album was one of them (along with Hitchhiking). But I don't think I've listened to it in 20 years, so I'm doing this right now. Thanks!

I wasn't expecting anything from this album, especially with its dubious artwork, but it's a great surprise! Their best in a long time!

But I'm also a professional videographer, filmmaker (4th movie coming out soon!), digital artist and eLearning specialist. AI may be threatening all these fields, but I'm more excited to explore what I can do with it for now than hating and fearing everything about it.

I got a comment today from someone who told me that if I wanted to make music, all I had to do was learn to play it. In fact, I've been an amateur keyboard player for 20 years, and more recently a bass player for 5-6 years. I could never have produced what AI does, but my basic skills come in handy.

I believe that generative AI can be a danger to culture (and much more), but unfortunately we've opened the doors and it's here to stay. All we can do is at least make sure that it's properly labeled, and that people know what and who they're paying for.
