This is one of my favourite stones, and I always seem to seek it out. I just love the rich colours.

I will say, I'm not including chips of stones as I have hundreds in small bags, and I haven't identified what some are yet!

I mentioned my crystals, and wanted to share my collection- here are my larger pieces, hand for scale (sorry, no bananas).

From top to bottom, left to right, we have Honey Calcite, a Jasper(?) Egg, a rough, unpolished Mookaite slab, a rough cut Bloodstone, and a fossil!

Sometimes, I catch myself. Thinking about Her. My mother. And how she probably would have adored how many tarot cards I have, or the idea of crystal pot-pourri, and how much I missed out on with her because of our strained relationship. Even the watercolours I use, they were originally hers.
