Today I found out from a random fb post in my newsfeed that Clippy fanfic is a thing and I think that explains a lot about the state of the world.

I'm told the ammunition found had the letters TRN stamped into the casing and that this is the source of that theory, though in fact, TRN is the maker's mark for Turkish ammunition manufacturer Turan. I have no source to support the first part, but the Turan part is definitely true.
