The thing that's crazy to me is that everyone keeps pushing AI as a great way to navigate complicated realities quickly, but it's not good at that

The thing it IS good at is facilitating DECEPTION. It is SO GOOD at lying. From generated videos to made up data, AI can really reliably trick people

Joints hurt so bad but then I broke my arm and I exploded my arm bones and didn't think it was a big deal for 4 days

So what I'm saying is that we gotta explode your arm bones to test this out

I have had the pleasure of kicking it with them a few times and it has always been amazing

I find is pretty universal also

Like in my experience it's really hard in game design to convert feedback into improvements cuz people will ask for shit or complain about shit that, if you did what they did, would make the game obviously and transparently bad for the people asking for it

I have enjoyed them! The mint ones are my favorite

And like, yeah, the texture does meaningfully change the experience, but it feels like cynical corporate greed that led to their invention

2: all of it was ALMOST Larp

I got taken to that one year and it was truly an interesting space. There were several people that were LARPing but I don't think they were aware of LARP as like... A formalized activity? They were just like, "what up I'm Lestat" and it was super interesting to see that dynamic
