It’s an RPG, Henry is meant to suck at the start (KCD1 because he’s barely an adult and has had no proper training, KCD2 because he had a life-threatening injury).

This applies to archery, too. Use Bowman’s Brew and train with Vitek (Gamekeeper Vostatek’s son). Nothing sucks like being taken out by an archer because you missed your shot with a shaky hand.

Also, block! Learn to block, and early. Use potions. Artemisia sucks in KCD1, but other agility and strength based ones help. Use your strength skill points. Walk around over encumbered (this isn’t an issue for loot goblins lol). Engage with skill trainers at every opportunity.
