But like I said, the worst case scenario was so severe and the vet said it was imminent any day now, so he didn't give us any other option. It was very sudden because we were only taking him in for a checkup, we had no idea we wouldn't be bringing him home

Even if we wanted more time with him because he seemed so happy still, we don't know when it would've changed, and if it didn't, the pain would've been so severe he would've seized into a coma. And we couldn't risk that happening. Him acting normal made it so much harder to put him down

In general? Alot. He was our little disabled kitten. But the reason we had to put him down? He was basically full of poop that had hardened too much that it couldn't be removed. He thankfully was not in pain yet, but the vet said it was going to change drastically for the worst any day now
