I really really like the shapes at the sides, I think they look cool as hell. I also love the using cinematic bars in front/behind the character, adds a lot of depth you wouldn't normally see. Great work, I love it so far!

Funny thing about this, the way I chart levels is via recording my inputs (because the game isn't super tight on timing), I had to adjust a lot of the settings for the fx and even with that it took forever because the enemies you dont hit (different color to background) would overlap w/ ones you do
