Not to say an interruption in cancer treatment isn’t horrific but there are also folks out there with experimental medical devices in them, sometimes keeping them alive, whose trials w have been cut off. They people whining about unborn lives and Obamacare deathsquads have done this. Insane.

Lingering meditatively on the cold landscape was plot in itself.

This sharp veer into where the hell cobel went and, ultimately, what she really is (as laid out clearly in the opening titles) (and I think I’m being vague enough here) felt downright literary. This chapter was so elegant in the weird way it just expanded the breadth of the entire story.

The refiners spend a night in the woods: “Wow! Incredible!”
We find out what Cobel really is: “wah who even is this woman?”
Seriously, I just don’t understand folks sometimes.

I wasn't quite sure what to make of the grand central pop-up (cynicism is SO 2025), but you & Adam's discussion was so full of fun and joy. And you looked like a proud papa. I get it.
