No. Nothing like that.
Structurally it's fairly normal(ish) aside from the long paragraphs & often multiple speakers in the same paragraph & not much to indicate who is saying what unless you're following closely.
And I forgot about all the anagrams. Lots of those.

I may have to reconsider this one. I saw enough negative reviews to put me off, but maybe after the new year I'll hit up the library for it.

It really does. Going back a few months, the last four books I've acquired don't even equal that beast.
Schattenfroh was a very unique experience. Despite the long paragraphs & subject material (philosophy & religion/the Bible & German esoterica) it was rarely boring. Just a bit over my head.
