Yes, therapeutic. The protest I attended was in conservative, red Holland, MI. Estimated 3,000+ attendees. Lots of creative signs. As an historian and retired teacher, I had to represent my passions with these signs. Thanks, Joanne for staying on course and continuing the legacy of good trouble!

I just finished Good Reasonable People by @keithpayne.bsky.social, an insightful read. I’m glad he also mentioned Politics Is For Power by @eitanhersh.bsky.social. Inspired by reading the Hersh book, a group in Ottawa County worked together to flip our County Commission & blunt right wing extremism.
