I'd pay good money to get some southern stream energy to line up with these early December temperatures. But that's probably wishful thinking for southeast snow lovers, just not a great pattern for much other than cold and dry. Will take it over highs in the 70s, though!

First healthy northwest flow snow event this winter across the Southern Appalachians! Impressive upper low with vort max pivoting through. Even a surface reflection along with a slug of moisture/Great Lakes connection. Accums up to a foot definitely possible for the highest peaks along the TN border
