I think the opposite. UBI sets the baseline and creatives use their talents to increase their income if they choose. As long as you carve out limits on original creator IP monopoly time, the downsides are minimized with dynamic benefits.

I'm against Swiss-style Presidents because councils would probably not be able make fast or make hard decisions. But I see the benefits. My personal modification would be spliting foreign and domestic duties between the president and vice president and electing both via condorcet voting systems.
