I take your point, but you would NEVER find me celebrating surveillance tech. Ever.

Excellent book!

I hated that book. I know the Republicans do it, too, but it bothers me that rather than engaging in rational discourse and debate, we resort to neurolinguistic tactics.

Ouch!

I don't know how old you are, but I remember the 2000 and 2004 elections---which Bush won---also being, "Most Important Election of my lifetime". The Dems fucked up there, too. In any case, I wish they'd make up their minds about which is the most important presidential election of my lifetime.

I had an X account (I've disabled it now), however I rarely used it and did not make any political statements whatsoever. So you are either mistaking me for someone else or are consciously maligning me. I don't know what you're talking about. I have voiced my hate of Trump and his appointees.

You are very aggressive! First of all, I am against the genocide and deplore US support of Netanyahu. However, despite that, I did vote for Kamala.

I don't see that. Explain. I am not the reason WE keep losing. However fueling cynicism by repeating "Nobody is above the law" and then pardoning your son MIGHT BE one reason we keep losing.

You will get no argument from me. Trump is a criminal. I just don't see how that justifies pardoning Hunter.
December 2, 2024 at 7:14 PM
Nope. Sorry. Too wrongs don't make a right. Sure, Trump is even worse, but the man who has repeatedly told us, "Nobody is above the law", just made his son above the law. How shall we remember him? As "Genocide Joe" or "Jailbrake Joe"?

It would have been great if he had read and taken to heart this book years ago. I would say better late than never, but it is indeed too late!

Me, too. I love Radiohead.

Thanks! Just what I've been looking for. I read the Michael Malice book, "The New Right", but found it obnoxious. After all, Malice considers himself an "anarcho-capitalist" and I'm not sure what's the difference between that and libertarianism.

OK, thanks. That does make sense. Thanks for the correction.

Ok. Thanks. I won't shop on Amazon as long as they're on strike.
November 29, 2024 at 11:23 PM
Obviously I don't work at Amazon so no chance of me crossing picket lines in that way, but my question is are the workers calling on people not to shop at Amazon?
