Thus first time offenders get the stick. Second time it's the whip. Third time they'll be thrown into the Lake of Geneva.

So to make completely random I looked around in the room saw my daughters Merida figurine and free associated.
QPid wouldn't have been on here in any other way. I don't have much love for this episode, but I don't loathe it either. Love the meme though...

Imagine the trailer "When another Enterprise appears future as we know it is forever changed. Only if they change the past the crew of the Enterprise NCC 1701-D can save their present."
Space battles, moral conundrums and more time for the story.
I'd be in the cinema on day 1

So Hear all trust nothing might not be the most consequential episode of Lower Decks but I was just smiling the whole time. Bonus points for Kira and Shaxs.

So I still think The Last Generation is fine, I obviously love the D, missed the carpet and was enthralled by the promise of legacy, but for me it doesn't hold up as well as the first nostalgia fueled viewing promised. Especially the whole Borg plot didn't work for me.

As I wrote before Family should count as the third part of Best of Both Worlds but it's seldomly caught on any best of list.
It hits well emotionally, broadens Picards background and gives him room to work through those horrible events. Plus Sir Patrick is brilliant!

So there are plenty of episodes I'd like to see again for the first time, many of them I've already named, In the Pale Moonlight, the first part of Best of Both Worlds, just for the fear and anticipation waiting for part two gave everyone on 93, Second Contact to start LD anew

So Where Silence Has Lease might not be an obvious choice but as I already said I scare easy and the blend of the pseudo-Yamatos haunted house and being completely in the hands of an unfeeling being really frightened me when I was younger and it still gives me the creeps.

Has anyone not been utterly shocked by Hemmers death?I hate how dirty they did him, but I also think it worked well for the episode. The Gorn are terrifying and now we know that no one (without history-plot-armor)is safe

I'm just a bit to young to have been there for that glorious summer of the best Star Trek cliffhanger ever but even without this enmvent character two-parter is special. Helped by the contract negotiations you have the feeling that we could lose Picard, the Borg are menacing,

So Star Trek definitely isn't shy of greatness and there have been some strong contender just in the last couple of years like SNWs A Quality of Mercy, LDs Fissure Quest and I also really liked Discos Ten-C but when push comes to shove nothing compares to In The Pale Moonlight

Is the concept of Genesis quite stupid? Yes! Does it stretch the science in Science Fiction pretty thin? Yes! But is it also positively Cronenbergian (or is that Danielsian now?) and a lot of fun? Also yes!

Innocence isn't on many best of list but it's a Tuvok centric episode and I really like the concept. It's quite scary at times and the twist and it's don't assume thinks you don't no enough about message work for me

I'm bending the rules a bit today. It's not a single episode but a season I've come around.
When Disco first came out I was whelmed, didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. It was a bit uneven, the main character focus didn't sit well with me and then they killed the gays

If The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea called me chicken, I'd have to except it. Because I really can't do horror, especially when it comes to psychological horror.
Thus The Thaw always gives me mayor creeps.

So I'm a big fan of political thrillers and court dramas and Drumhead deliversvgreat stuff in both genres.
It has a really strong message that is quite relevant today and is sublimly acted especially by Sir Patrick.

I do not quote anything that often, especially with the language barrier, but "resistance is futile" is definitely in my day to day vernacular.
And while I love the quote as a sign of pure hopeless menace I also think it's counterpoint in Scorpion was at least as strong.

So this prompt is a bit ambivalent. Because if you only go by saying the guest has to be great, the Rock is quite great at what he does, Mae Jemison and Stephen Hawkins were some of the g.o.a.ts in their fields and I have great respect for Stacey Abrams.
