I just discovered that my 12-string Spanish Laúd "Destina" was tuned 1/2 step too high! (My own fault) Not a good thing at all and sounds and plays much better now. The laúd is a short scale instrument; pitched a 4th higher than the guitar. Mine is uniquely tuned to open C. G-C-G-C-E-G.
