“What… what’s going on?” I whisper, voice raw, need paper cup water.
I remember laying in bed, getting ready for a nap. Where is blankey? Where’s teddy bear? Is this a dream?
“Look who woke up.” My mom gently whispers.
The Dentist comes around the corner.
“We’re ready for you now.”
