you are right. and this is not a counterexample because it's not a movie, i think hopefully more a "yes and," but i really liked brad dourif in voyager, not just for being a weird killer in space but having an unexpected arc too. this guy never stops doing interesting things.

Had time to kill in the area w/daughter, so stopped by Vroman's. She got a kick out of seeing the collection. Also recognized the BASFF 25. When I was a kid, I met a guy who wrote a book and thought it was cool people could just do that, maybe I could. Hope that's what she/her siblings think too.

had a really nice time as a guest at CalArts talking to an undergrad class and MFA group about Uncertain Sons and spec fic. what a lovely school and thoughtful students. makes me wish i studied writing when i was a whippersnapper. cool place.
