As a Dane, I’ve never felt more betrayed. Putin and Xi could not have dreamt of this start of the Four Long Years.

As a Dane I can say this is not not felt as a joke. We, the rest of the West, are relying on the US. Have gone to war on your call. Lost more men per capita than you in our shared lost war in Afghanistan. And now you are trying to interfere in our internal affairs? Trying to landgrab us? Come on.

Your Danish allies are feeling a slight backstabbing pain.

And the Greenlandic guy, who a few hours ago were handed a MAGA-cap and encouraged Trump to “buy us”, then being broadcasted everywhere, has now been fact-checked. Even though he was imprisoned for 4 years, and described by Greenlandic authorities as “dangerous”, he is still entitled to opinions.

Well. In Denmark, utter disbelief has replaced laughter. An attempted landgrab from a fellow NATO-member which we have supported militarily in all sorts of campaigns. This?! From an ally?!? Who needs Russia when we have Trump.
