Germany needed to reinvent itself 20 years ago, but instead of allowing innovation, it still clings to old ideals and ways.
Over the past few weeks, Sebastien Ash, Florian Müller and I took a deep dive into the demise of German manufacturing. The situation appears so bleak that it really blows my mind.

Legendary use case for Claude Code I’ve just heard:

“It managed to uninstall all Adobe products from my Mac by telling Claude Code to do this. Toon a bunch of tokens but was worth it.”

Critical thinking is always needed when reading those kind of „surveys“
In what world is IBM's "AI coding technology" ranked a league above Cursor?? The technology I've not heard of existing (let alone a single dev using it) While Cursor adopted by large tech companies like Uber, Shopify, Stripe and many others?

Why reports like this "IDC" one are nonsense:

Most recruitment processes are not repeatable.
What a story from Steve Yegge from his time at Google, back in the day:

Using a "blind" and unbiased process, interviewers would not have hired most colleagues who were actually at the company!

Food for thought on how building a soild hiring process remains tough

Jack Dorsey's BitChat whitepaper is out, and it's a masterclass in true off-grid communication. It details a P2P messaging app running entirely on a custom Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh network. No internet, no servers, just pure decentralized messaging, ephemeral.
