Is lavender having a bit of a moment and can niche brands give this versatile, familiar material a luxury feel? Find out in my column for Fragplace #fragrance #perfume

Can a material that's been here forever still surprise us in 2025?

Really enjoyable first episode, and I’m really excited for future episodes. I think there has definitely been a need for a well-informed and open-minded podcast on the fragrance industry, and looking forward to listening to you more.

Got into an argument with the dupe bros on TikTok. Their response to my comment that yes, duping is stealing: “bUt AlL tHe BiG bRaNdS cOpY eAcHoThEr AnYwAy”. Yes, because famously two wrongs make a right.

Every week we watch Dragon’s Den and every week my husband times how long it takes for me to call Steven Bartlett a prick. Tonight it was 12 minutes.

Here's what fragrances I wore in Winter 24/25. It's a varied selection of new things, classics, warm things, and for some reason, lots of roses! Check it out:
What I Wore: Winter 2024/25
I’m a firm believer that fragrance should be approached much in the same way as fashion. You would not dream of having only one outfit for every single occasion or season, so why would you do the same with your scent? There is literally a fragrance for everything and I always try and match my scent to my outfit, whatever it is I may be doing, and the season of the time. For these reasons I’ve got into a cycle of curating a seasonal fragrance wardrobe which sits on a lovely little marble tray in my bedroom.
