I have always been fascinated with reflections. When I was hiking at Ludington State Park, I came upon this reflection on Hamlin Lake. I only had my iPhone with me to make this image.

Walking in the woods is refreshing to the soul. The distractions of the day are gone. Yesterday's walk revealed some leaves that would not give up to the cold winds of winter. They clung on. They did not give up. It is a metaphor for our current times.

One of the wonderful things about living near the Lake Michigan shores is the beauty of the sand dune. Sand dunes are all around us. They change day to day, depending on the strength of the wind. This is a sand dune in Ludington State Park, in Ludington, Michigan.
