My second Cubs home opener in a row (sorry to the dudes that turned around right on the pic). Very excited and lucky to be here.

Had an amazing year with the @pmstudios.bsky.social team, and so exciting to see our app FUZE grow. To cap it all off the amazing @balbnis.bsky.social shipped me the insane Black Myth: Wukong special edition! I feel very fortunate to be on the journey.

Sudden urge to play Skyward Sword again, this track (and the cutscene it played over) is beautiful.

Went to the festive lights yesterday at the Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, it was beautiful and it remains one of my favourite places.

Well, they got me... If anyone wants to be friends with an extremely amateurish Pokemon Trainer / card collecting person then my friend code is 0205495441126572

[5] The game that probably opened the path for an eventual career in gaming. Could afford one console in this generation, and a video review for Super Mario Galaxy made me say 'that's the one'. Then I spent most of my student loans on the Wii Shop (Wiiware and VC, magical times). What a game.

The leap from ZX Spectrum to SEGA Mega Drive blew my young mind, with Sonic 1 being my first game on the system. It's the sequel, though, that I truly loved and I still play through to this day. It's a gem, and still my favourite in the franchise.

The first gaming system we owned in the family was a ZX Spectrum, I loved this thing as a young kid. Daley Thompson's Decathlon is an absolute classic, but some events were all about mashing buttons or waggling a joystick. Many keyboards and joysticks died in the quest for a Gold medal.

I'm pretty sure this is the first video game I ever played. The Hobbit text adventure, in my case on the BBC Micro, a computer I think my dad borrowed. I have a memory of it being a co-op experience for us, huddled around the computer with my brother and parents, I must have been about 4 years old.

Bowser's Inside Story kickstarted my love of Nintendo and, eventually, my career in games. DSi was the first Nintendo console I owned despite being obsessed with games since the NES days, and this was the first game I bought for it. Because Bowser is the best.

Sure, why not. Expect some very British retro choices if it goes on for long!

Every Saturday afternoon for a couple of months I've been making this cool 'Rokr' model that's a functional printing press, just finished! Fun fact is I did a postgrad in material culture and the history of the book, and in an alternate universe I work in an academic library working with old texts.

Living in Scotland and working for a US-based company gives me the amazing luxury of visiting beautiful places on some mornings. These pictures are from Dawyck Botanical Garden, which is a 1 hour drive for me. I go there once month, typically, and it had amazing autumnal colours this week.

I've been having a great week in the marvelous beauty of the Scottish Highlands; it's truly my favourite part of the world. Still, everyone sees enough impressive pics of landscapes, so here's a zoomed look at an unimpressed snow leopard at the Highland Wildlife Park (I recommend a visit).

Ah yes, the Scottish Highlands.
